WEEK OF MAY 26, 2014

COACHES NOTES: Happy Memorial Day!! This week we are continuing with Circuit training, but NO drop circuits (just regular). You will be doing 4 sets of 15 reps using moderate weight. Focus on good form and keeping the intensity up throughout the entire workout. Remember for the circuit you will be doing all exercises for 15 reps once through and this will = 1 circuit (round). Complete a total of 4 circuits (rounds). Some of the benefits to doing circuits these last few weeks are; get a great workout in short amount of time, increases your cardiovascular fitness, increases your muscle endurance, increases growth hormone production-which leads to greater fat loss,¬†and studies have shown that mixing a resistance training with a cardiovascular element (cardio accelerators) will increase your metabolism, therefore burning fat and building muscle. The result being a decrease in body fat percentage, which is what we all wouldn’t mind decreasing! Enjoy and email with questions, Coach Keith.
