My 1FitLife Coaches

Michelle Baumgard

Co-Founder of My1FItLife, LiveTheList Nonprofit, and OneFitWidow

Hi, everyone! My name is Michelle Steinke, and I am Co-Founder of My1FitLife and Live the List Nonprofit. After losing my late husband in 2009, I became engrossed in fitness, not only as a lifestyle, but also as a profession. After losing 80 pounds, I decided that my love of fitness was more than just a pastime; and I wanted to spend the rest of my life empowering those with loss to live their life to the fullest with the help of health and fitness. I also wanted to share my passion with those who have experienced extreme grief and trauma, so I became a certified personal trainer and left my VP position with my corporate job. I started my fitness career as a trainer at the gym that gave me weight loss success and then eventually left to start My1FitLife. My dream is to help as many people as possible find stress relief and renewal of life through health and fitness. Today, My1FitLife has over 2,000 worldwide members, and I’ve been blessed to be asked to write for numerous publications on the subject of health and fitness and speak at numerous conferences and events around the world.

Keith Baumgard

Co-Founder of My1FitLife and LiveTheList Nonprofit

Hi, my name is Keith Baumgard; and I am Co-Founder of My1FitLife and Live the List Nonprofit. Fitness has been a life-long passion of mine, starting from a young age. My degree is in Exercise Science and Sports Medicine, allowing me to extensively learn and study the anatomy and physiology of the body, specifically the muscular system. Having a background in this allows me to continually develop unique and effective exercise programs. I started my career as a personal trainer right out of college and continue to work with clients today. In 2004, I lost my best friend in a plane crash and realized how important exercise and fitness is in helping with the grieving process. My greatest reward is seeing others achieve their goals and live up to their full potential. I look forward to working with you all and helping you maximize your results and live a Fit Life!!

Lorrie McFadden

Director of Nutrition

Hello! My name is Lorrie McFadden, and I’m pleased to join the 1FitLife family. After working in Photography and Printing for over 25 years, I joined the world of non-profit. For the past 2 years, I have spent my time at Outside In, a homeless program for young adults, in the kitchen serving nutritious foods and in HR working on special projects. Giving back to the community has been a tremendous pleasure and joy for me, and I look forward to serving up healthy and delicious recipes for 1FitLife. I feel that I know many of you after our 30 day challenge, and I’m excited to spend more time with you all, discovering health, fitness and a happy life!

Kristi Marshall

Director of Fitness

I get it. Life is crazy and there are not enough hours in the day. I understand where you are coming from. I want to help you define and meet your personal goals for fitness.
I have Midwestern roots and a degree in Health Promotion. I have had the opportunity to work in a number of unique environments to help expand my knowledge of the industry. I am a working Mom, have 2 beautiful kids and a wonderful husband that are a constant reminder of how strong and profound human relationships can be.
I have been a competitive swimmer from the age of seven through college. I enjoy the water immensely and would love to work with you on stroke refinement, triathlon readiness, injury rehab, or with your children to help them learn to swim and feel confident in the water.
You may be at a place in life where you are trying to figure out how to do it all. I constantly remind myself that it is about inner peace, not “balance.” I would love to help you find some quality “you time” so that you can be the best mom, daughter, husband, wife, and/or partner that you can be. It is possible!
“The moment you commit and quit holding back, all sorts of unforeseen incidents, meetings, and material assistance will rise up to help you. The simple act of commitment is a powerful magnet for help.” –Napoleon Hill

Tami Bliss

Director of Mental Wellbeing

Tami has a passion not only for mental health, but also for physical health and fitness. She holds a double Masters Degree in Community and Rehabilitation Counseling. During her graduate school years, her interest and emphasis was on eating disorders. She has worked in a variety of mental health settings, including group and family counseling, individual counseling, Adjunct Psychology Instructor at the University and Community college levels, and at-risk youth. Tami is a certified Personal Fitness Trainer and certified Group Fitness Instructor, and enjoys teaching a variety of group fitness classes part-time. Her other interests include spending time with her husband and three boys, who are very active in sports, music, and school activities.
"We are humans. Sometimes we forget that being human means making mistakes and learning from them. It is extremely difficult to have success in certain areas of our life when our mental health is not stable, we are insecure, or we have fear that holds us back from being our best self. I don’t want to be in my 90's still wishing that I were a size 6. I want to be happy in my body and enjoy life. And I want that for everyone who exists in this world. To see their worth and make the most of their life."
